Love this swim school. All our instructors have been excellent -- great with children and really know how to teach. We started our older son at [a nearby swim school] before switching to KSA two years ago and I truly feel he didn't start to learn any swimming until we switched schools.
Also, the office is really accommodating about scheduling make ups. Really responsive and friendly. If you want to work with friendly staff, and have your children taught by great teachers and to actually learn substantive swim skills (as opposed to just floating around), then this is definitely the right place!
Teacher Ed is great with my water phobic son. My son hates putting his face in the water but with teacher Ed's gentle guidance he now floats n swim with face in the water for 5+ seconds. It sounds like it is not long but for my son it is a great improvement.
King's Swim Academy rocks! Our daughter was literally terrified of water touching any part of her face. We took her to a few places with over enthusiastic instructors that just made things worse. Finally, looked for a highly rated place on Yelp and went with the "highest rated" swim class.
This place is THE best. My kids, 4 and 7, have been in the "Summer Blitz" program for a few weeks this summer and this has been our first experience with Kings.
I have been taking adult classes with Duc for close to 2 years now. I started from level 0 and now I am at a point where I enjoy swimming and want to practice forever.
I'm actually writing this review while watching my kids swim at King's. We've been taking classes here for 18 months with multiple teachers at different levels, so I am speaking from experience when I say that King's is really great for kids AND parents.
I'm so happy I found this place. My son is now 7 months old and I started with his swim lessons here at 5 months old. He gets so excited when we walk into the pool. Our teacher Nick is fabulous with him.
Amazing instructors, super flexible with scheduling, very warm and friendly environment.
