Policies

ENROLLMENT & REGISTRATION:
Enrollment is ongoing in year-round weekly lessons. It is the sole responsibility of the person enrolling(Parent/Guardian) to submit a cancelation in writing to end enrollment of lessons. The annual membership fee is due at the time of registration and annually thereafter as long a student is enrolled in swim lessons at KSA ($35 for the first student, $20 for the second student, and $10 for the third student). If you have enrolled multiple students, the membership renewal month is based on the first student’s membership date.

PAYMENTS:
A valid bank account or credit card must be provided at the time of registration in order to secure a spot in a swim class at KSA. The bank account, debit, or credit card on file will be billed automatically on the first of every month if registering for our year-round classes. I hereby authorize King’s Swim Academy to charge my credit card on file for the tuition due for the remaining classes this month. If paying by cash or check, tuition must be received by the 1st of the month. Monthly tuition is based on how many classes occur during the month.
Once a month is paid for, there will be no refunds. If tuition is not paid by the 7th of the month there will be a late fee of $25 applied to the account. If no payment is received by the 15th the student(s) will be withdrawn.

WITHDRAWALS:
I understand that requests to withdraw must be placed in writing by the 15th of the final month of classes. Verbal requests over the phone or in-person will not be honored. If I have not received confirmation of my written request from KSA, I understand my request did not go through and I will re-submit the written withdrawal request. No refunds will be honored after billing has taken place. Requests received after the 15th of the final month are subject to a $25 processing fee. Once the next month has been charged on the 1st, there will not be any refunds. Pro-rates into the next month may be done with a notification by the 15th of the previous month.

ABSENCES AND MAKE-UP LESSONS:
All absences must be reported on your customer portal at least 24-hours prior to your class start time to be eligible for a make-up class. Verbal requests over the phone or in person will not be recorded. Make-up classes will expire 30 days from the eligible absence date. Make up classes can only be scheduled up to 3 days in advance. Make-up lessons are based on availability and not guaranteed. Make up classes will not be scheduled in consecutive weeks. No refunds, credits, or extensions will be issued for unused make-ups. Make-ups must be scheduled the week you want to attend, and cannot be rescheduled. Students must be actively enrolled in weekly lessons to attend make-up lessons. Make-up lessons do not apply for Swim Blitz or promotional offers and cannot be transferred between students.

PRIVATE LESSON MAKE-UP:
In order to continue to offer private lessons, we have had to adopt the same policy for make-ups as for our group lessons. Students enrolled in private lessons must complete make ups in group sessions unless there is a recorded absence in a private lesson the same day/week you would like to schedule. Make-ups are not guaranteed and will not go towards the next month’s tuition. No refunds or credits will be given for unused make-up lessons. Teachers are not guaranteed and we cannot take teacher requests.

REMAIN ON SITE:
For liability reasons, parents/guardians must stay onsite for their child’s entire swim class and are responsible for constant supervision for any other minor students or siblings. Minor students and/or siblings are not to be left alone and must be supervised at all times. KSA does not offer drop-offs.

POOL CLOSURES:
In the event of a pool closure that results in a canceled lesson, a make-up class will be put on your account, which can be used as long as the student is actively enrolled in weekly lessons. There will not be any credits or refunds for a pool closure.

INSTRUCTORS:
KSA cannot guarantee instructors. A change in instructors is not a reason for a refund or credit. KSA cannot guarantee teacher requests.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
KSA has on-site video monitoring and may take photographs or videos during lessons for training, security, and/or promotional purposes. Unless otherwise specified in writing by the parent or guardian, I authorize KSA to photograph my child and/or child’s class for future use without compensation.
