Policies

ENROLLMENT & REGISTRATION:
All enrollments must be secured with payment before lessons begin.  Payments are accepted online, by phone, or in person at any Kings Swim Academy. Payment information must be kept up to date. If payment is declined (even after multiple attempts), enrollment will not be confirmed. Full monthly tuition will be based on the number of classes scheduled for that month, regardless of closures.  When starting mid-month, the tuition will be prorated for the number of remaining lessons in the month.

PAYMENTS:
Class payments are automatically charged to the credit card on file on the 20th of the prior month. For example, payment for the month of June will be processed on May 20th.

  • If the 20th falls on a Saturday, tuition will be collected on the Friday prior, or if it falls on a Sunday, it will be processed on the following Monday.
  • Dates may vary based on holidays.
  • A credit card on file is required for monthly payments.

 

IF PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE 1ST OF THE MONTH, THE ENROLLMENT WILL BE DROPPED AT THAT TIME.

ANNIVERSARY FEE:

  • An annual, non-refundable anniversary fee is due in full on your first swim lesson and on each anniversary month thereafter. This fee is fixed and will not be subject to proration under any circumstances, including mid-month enrollments or drop requests.
  • This fee will automatically be added to your monthly payment once a year for the month in which it is due.
  • This fee is separate from tuition and is automatically added only once per year.

WITHDRAWALS:

  • A 30 day notice is required to drop from a class.
  • Requests to drop from class are ONLY accepted through the iClassPro customer portal or phone app.
  • In person, by phone, or email drop requests are NOT accepted.
  • After the drop request has been approved, your class (scheduled lessons) will end 30 days from the date of the drop request. 
  • Following a drop request, payment for the upcoming month will be prorated dependent upon the drop date.
    • For example: A drop request is submitted on April 18th and approved.  The last day of class will be May 18.  When payments are processed for the month of May, the billed payment will only be for the number of classes between May 1-18.

ABSENCES AND MAKE-UP LESSONS:

  • Makeup tokens can be used for any missed lessons.
  • You can use up to 12 Makeup Tokens per calendar year.
  • You must mark yourself absent at least 24 hours in advance to receive a makeup token.
  • Absents can ONLY be marked through the iClassPro customer portal or phone app.
  • Makeup tokens can be redeemed for any open spot in your class level no more than 6 days in advance.  Redemptions attempted for more than 6 days before the lesson are not permitted.
  • Due to our low instructor to student ratio, we cannot guarantee the availability of makeup classes.
  • Makeup tokens will expire 45 days from the issue date.
  • Makeup tokens will not be re-issued for missed makeup lessons.
  • No refund will be issued for unused tokens.
  • All unused makeup tokens will expire on your drop date if you withdraw from classes.
  • You must be actively enrolled to use makeup tokens.

REMAIN ON SITE:
For liability reasons, parents/guardians must stay onsite for their child’s entire swim class and are responsible for constant supervision for any other minor students or siblings. Minor students and/or siblings are not to be left alone and must be supervised at all times. KSA does not offer drop-offs.

POOL CLOSURES:
In the event of a pool closure that results in a canceled lesson, a make-up token will be put on your account, which can be used within 4 months as long as the student is actively enrolled in weekly lessons. There will not be any credits or refunds for a pool closure.

INSTRUCTORS:
KSA cannot guarantee instructors. A change in instructors is not a reason for a refund or credit. KSA cannot guarantee teacher requests.

PHOTOGRAPHY:
KSA has on-site video monitoring and may take photographs or videos during lessons for training, security, and/or promotional purposes. Unless otherwise specified in writing by the parent or guardian, I authorize KSA to photograph my child and/or child’s class for future use without compensation.
